CAP 600 Series: 3 Choices
CAP units are designed both for use in new installations and for
retrofit applications. CAP 600 series models are designed for use in
1-4 ton HVAC systems. CAP 1200 series models are designed for use in
larger (4-10 tons) residential and commercial systems. One CAP unit is
required for each HVAC system.
In addition to HEPA filtration the CAP 600-UP and CAP 1200-UV models
feature high-output gericidal UP disinfection lamps for added control of
bacteria and fungi. Germicidal UV has been used for years in hospitals,
pharmisutical plants, and food processing and storage facilities to
break down the DNA of airborne pathogens and allergens such as bacteria,
viruses, molds and fungi.
The CAP 600 UVP and CAP 1200-UVP models feature and unique "UV Plus"
technology. UV Plus lamps combine germicidal UV disinfection with an
in-duct oxidation reaction known as photolysis. UV Plus lamps provide
enhances neutralization of common household odor and microbial odors.
All models are approved by Environmental Testing Laboratories to conform
to applicable UL standards. |
